Strengthening the Tax Base

All communities in our service area receive local property taxes as a result of municipal assessments of power lines, substations and other facilities. The Line will raise the assessed values of these facilities, thus increasing the taxes paid to the communities in which they are located. Additional tax payments will help relieve the tax burden paid by residential property owners.
